Rambutan Resort - Townsville

Great vibes at Rambutan! The location nailed it for access to the Strand and nearby supermarkets. The pool was massive, with plenty of seating. I loved the rooftop bar with its chill atmosphere and tasty cocktails. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The noise from the street at night was a bummer, especially in my external room was great. The bathroom could use better shelving and hooks. It felt cramped with nowhere to hang towels after swimming. The light system was also inconvenient, needing the room key to turn off bathroom lights, which shut off the air-conditioning too.

Air-conditioned, high-class room with a private bathroom and a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets. Beautiful pool views, good food. Easy check-in, late check-out.

the restaurant was pretty good for breakfast or dinner, i tried delicious dishes. the pool view was a good bonus.

Room security was good!

The location was good and perfect, near an award-winning museum. We found it in an enjoyable area not far from Close to the ferry terminal where the Greyhound bus stop is, the main shopping street, restaurants, and the nightlife.

Its location extremely close to a local ship museum was particularly good and absolutely perfect. The room was n't cleaned-toilet and available with modern decor and the balcony, for instance.

Views appeared to be dull.

Had a great 2-night stay! The apartment was spacious with comfortable beds, and I enjoyed the excellent food options, especially breakfast. Just be prepared for noise from events!

The rooftop pool was perfect for a quick dip after exploring. The drinks were fabulous, and I loved the vibe! Convenient location for a lazy afternoon brunch too.

The manager's attitude made me question if I'd walked into a soap opera. And don't get me started on the room key, it had a more dramatic flair than me!

the rooftop bar was an unexpected gem the cocktails were on point and you just can't go wrong with $1 oysters on Friday afternoon we tried the pizzas and they were amazing for sharing

The stay included a spacious Twin Double room, perfect for sharing without the need to share a bed. The friendly staff created a cute atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience. The air conditioning struggled to maintain comfort, and the shower had occasional overflow issues, which detracted from the otherwise enjoyable stay. While the location was convenient, the lack of bathroom privacy was a minor inconvenience during nighttime visits.

Rambutan resort exceeded my expectations ! The rooftop bar and pool were fantastic for relaxation. I loved the affordable dinner specials and how friendly the staff were.
